A Critical Step to help
You Reach Your Goals
Redefining skin care with our simple, yet effective products and treatments.
Why It's Special
- An enjoyable wait for your appointment with comfortable furniture, nice things to look at and a modern playlist.
- One-on-one time with a Med Spa esthetician who takes the time to listen to your goals, assess your skin and prescribe a plan just for you.
- Walking out the door with a bag of good-for-you skin products and looking forward to your next appointment - yes, already!

Here's Our Plan:
- Your esthetician performs a physical exam.
- You have the floor and tell us what’s worked and not worked, what bothers you and what kind of results you expect.
- You receive detailed answers, making you feel more informed than when you arrived.
- You leave feeling heard and seen, listened to, cared for and understood.
- Treatment Guidelines
Pre-Treatment Guidelines
- Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event if you intend on receiving a treatment at your appointment. Please see specific treatment pages for the treatment you desire and more specific pre- and post-treatment tips.
- Arriving with a bare face is helpful for us to properly assess your skin. If you are unable to come without makeup, you can wash your face upon arriving.
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- Adherence to your skincare routine is critical for achieving clinical improvement. We recommend using your skin care routine like you would any prescription medication (i.e. use products as instructed and use at frequency prescribed)
- Due to the skin cell turnover rate, we recommended waiting a full 8-12 before follow-up to determine if your skin care routine and treatment plan need any adjustments.
- Adjustments to the routine may be needed. This is normal! Schedule an appointment to discuss with your provider.
- Skin concerns such as acne and rosacea typically recur, and maintenance therapy is an important component of skin health management. Please continue to make regular appointments for maintenance.

- Treatment
It is common to notice redness, swelling, bruising and soreness immediately after the procedure. However, this shouldn’t prevent you from returning to work after injections. We recommend scheduling injections around your work schedule if you are concerned about the social downtime.
Results commonly become noticeable within one week after treatment and improve with time. When treating skin concerns such as melasma and deep lines and wrinkles, it can take several treatments before noticing results.
Results from treatment are permanent. We recommend diligent lifestyle measures and a Med Spa skin care routine to maintain results.
Topical anesthetic cream is applied to reduce discomfort during the treatment.
The most common side effects include bleeding, bruising, swelling, and redness. These most commonly improve within 1-3 days after treatment.
Makeup may be worn 72 hours after treatment.
We recommend receiving clearance from your OBGYN prior to treatment if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines
- Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event. Redness, swelling and peeling may be apparent in that time period.
- Let the provider know if you have a history of cold sores. An antiviral may be prescribed.
- You may not have an active rash in the area being treated.
- Avoidance of Accutane for the past 6 months is required.
- Discontinue topical retinoids 24 hours before treatment to reduce sensitivity.
- If pregnant, you must receive clearance from OB/GYN.
- It is recommended to discontinue the use of Aspirin, NSAIDS, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Ginseng, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E or any other essential fatty acides 1 week before and after treatment to minimize bruising or bleeding from injections. Please consult with your primary physician prior to discontinuing any medications.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, Niacin supplement, high-sodium foods, high sugar foods, refined carbohydrates, spicy foods and cigarettes 24-48 hours before and after your injections. All of these factors may increase risk of bruising and swelling.
- Starting Arnica supplements at least 2 days prior to injections may help with bruising from injections.
Post-Treatment Guidelines
- Redness or sensitivity might be present (and last up to a few days).
- Use Tylenol only as needed for any soreness.
- Peeling may start 3-5 days after the procedure.
- Do not pick or scratch at treated skin.
- Avoid strenuous excercise or sweating for 24 hours due to open skin.
- Avoid sun tanning and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- If exposed to sun, always use braod-spectrum SPF 30+ and reapply every 2 hours.
- For melasma and scarring, RTC every 4-6 weeks; 4-6 treatments recommended for best results.
- For age management, RTC every 12 weeks; 4-6 treatments recommended for best results.
