Dermal Filler Injections
Dermal Fillers, Restylane and Juvederm, are injectable gels made from modified hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar naturally found in the human body that aides the skin in retaining moisture and softness. Filler is injected under the skin to fill deeper lines, lift tissue, or plump lips. Results are instant and natural looking without surgery!
The following areas can be treated with dermal fillers:
Tear trough (under eye)
Perioral lines (vertical lines around mouth)
$550 – $600 per syringe
$400 – $750 per syringe
Sclerotherapy/Laser Treatment for Spider Veins
The Med Spa offers Sclerotherapy/Laser Treatment to get rid of those unsightly spider veins resulting from a variety of factors. Spider veins are small, thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin. Although these super-fine veins are connected with the larger venous system, they are not an essential part of it so can be removed with this simple yet very effective procedure.
Spider veins usually take on one of three basic patterns:
True spider shape with a group of veins radiating outward from a dark central point
Tiny branch-like shapes
Thin separate lines
Factors contributing to Spider veins:
Occupations/Activities requiring prolonged sitting or standing
Sclerotherapy Treatments for Spider Veins
The Med Spa provides experienced and professional Sclerotherapy Treatments in a relaxed setting using a method by injection of a sclerosing agent into the veins to eliminate spider veins. We use the sclerosing agent, Polidocanol. This chosen sclerosing agent is believed to be the safest agent available with the least amount of side effects. We also treat reticular veins (feeders) that are bluish-green in color which prevents spider veins from returning.
Laser Treatments for Spider Veins
The Med Spa also offers Laser Treatment to remove spider veins. The Laser Treatment Therapy for spider veins involves directing the laser over the specific vein to be treated; the beam is then heated, resulting in the destruction of the vein walls.
Important things to remember:
Sclerotherapy/Laser treatments do not prevent the development of new spider veins and varicosities later in life
Many people require treatments from time to time to keep their legs clear
Total number of treatments depends on the amount and the severity of the veins (average is 3-5 but can take more than 10 in severe cases)
In each session, multiple areas can be treated
Each vein may need to be injected several times, in order to clear or improve the condition
Improvement is usually seen in a period of months
